rs dealerships

can anyone tell me who the rs dealership was in and around the Swansea area in the middle to late seventies ?

trying to find some info on the car

I got the original car registration document sent by the dealer to Swansea

Plus gives details on all the previous registered keepers

mine was registered in Maidstone, so a Haynes of Maidstone sticker will be the order of the day when its restored :-)

unless I can find the supplying dealer in Germany..

The car would most probably have been from Days, but could possibly have come from David Jones & Sons in Ammanford (which is only 10 miles or so from Swansea) as an awful lot of RS's including a few RS1800's were sold through that Ford Main Dealership during that period. Days used to get quite miffed about it apparently...

Phoned Days today but the old style stickers are not available because they now also franchise Peugeot and Nissan (or some other stuff) so the stickers don't show the original C.E.M.Days of FORD only.

Will keep an eye out to see if any original stickers come past.
