if you look at some of the buyers guides in magazines like practicle performance car, and practicle classics, and they list A1 RS2000's at £3750 and £4000!! not just the seoc at fault

no its correct, they just have the classes wrong...

Class 1 - requires inner wings, roof skin, all arches, boot floor and interior
Class 2 - ebay special, flintstones type floor, not running
Class 3 - ringer, pop shell & rotten, no engine
