  • Loctite on manifold bolts

    Do you need to use loctite on exhaust/inlet manifold bolts?? The side that goes into the head?

    AS i have just got new ones and dont want to get em all in then find out i should of loctited em in

    Shouldn't need it at all. Never used it, Never had a problem.

        Positively not - in fact use copperease or similar. You then have a hope of removing them if required. Never had a manifold stud come loose, even on an RAC Rally (when it was a real rally not a 3 day sprint...)
