42000 mile S2 turbo in red
as above. this car is one of the best i have ever seen
its in red and its a total standard car as from new

it don't want much work to make it a mint show car
its still got loads of origanal bits and genuine ford over mats
and a D40 spare aswell

iam looking for my money back and thats £2700

like i say you don't see them like this car is now

be quick as it will go on ebay soon

i am only selling it now as i have just got my self a mk2 escort mexico
to restore

i am sorry to say there is no history... ...as the owner befor me has had the work done by a ford worker at his home...

but this don't matter to much as the car is in such good condition and if it did have full history then the price will be alot more than £2700

I would probably say the same to be honest. Somehow you need to get hold of some of the history to prove the mileage to get the price you want for it I think mate. If it's an old guy that owned it they tend to keep absolutely everything, so it's a bit odd there's nothing.

there is not much i can do about it as there is no history from fords there is some bills and bits for stuff but the car was stood up for a long time aswell so that being part of the no history aswell....but like i say the shell tells how many mils this car has done and the shell is mint with no rust anywhere i am sure thats got to count for something

I know what you're saying mate, if it's been sat for a long time it won't have history from then. I would say you can tell it's had a minimum of the mirrors painted which I can tell just from those pics, because the bits that attach to the door frame should be black, not red. Just me being eagle eyed. Has it had many owners altogether?

Anyway, I'm not here to try and do your car down, it may well be totally genuine, so good luck with the sale mate, it does look a tidy one.

Some early S2's didnt come with painted mirrors- so theyve prob been done afterwards!

Looking at the pics its just muck,the mileage looks genuine ish imo! No sagging door cards etc.....

If it was historied it be 4k+ And i checked on RAC and its a one previous owner!

I'd look if i was after one!

Yes, you're right there Max, I remember now. Oh well, I'm not going to say anymore, I hate people trying to pick faults with my car (as they have recently) so I'm not going to do it either. It does look a nice one and you don't see many on this plate now so good luck with it mate, I'm sure it'll make someone a cracking motor.

Id have to disagree with you maxest because mine is for sale newer than this one and not many more miles (56k), with mots and Full Service history and I couldnt manage to get 4k for it. Although I think its worth it, obviously others dont.

the car is what it is...i am a man that likes mk2 escort and i have had over 100 in my time. i got this to try out and now i have got a mk2 mexico to restore.

when i drive this car it drives like a car that has done 42000 mile it also looks like one as there is no rust
the other bits are that its got genuine over mats in it and the origanal radio and there is no wear on the trim the head lights and spots are all carello and its got a d40 in the boot
the car is geuine an if someone wants a genuine S2 that only needs a bit of work to make mint then this is the one.

i am not getting upset and anyone can say what they want about this car but if you look at the car in the flesh then pass your comments on somthing you have looked at until then no one has the right to talk bad about this car.
