Ian, Brian, thanks to both of you for the suggestions - I'm going to stick with the petrol for other reasons which I won't put in writing on here......you never know who reads the site ! (HM Inland Revenue ????)

I sat and added up the total cost of the car which came to around £39400 on the road, the final negotiated price was £36500 so I think that's about 7.5% discount which I think is reasonable.

I'm a shareholder in a couple of companies that trade disposable grades of paper (i.e. the stuff you make toilet rolls and kitchen towels out of). We have an office down here in Kent and another up in Oldham.

At the end of the day, if I don't work hard I don't get the nice things !

                              Nice bit of Iron.

My boss has an E60 530d AC Schnitzer ; Looks the business.

Buy the servicing package for it, well worth the money as BMW charge £100+ vat an hour for labour around these parts.

I thought you might like this :

                              Cheers Rob.

Trouble is, they don't do a service package that covers 30k miles per annum !

And this is my 1000th post !!!!!
