I have Raven leather in my 4x4 Sapphire Cos, it's a pain, too hot in summer, too cold in winter, you slip and slide about when pressing on.

It looks nice and seemingly adds value to the car, but I'd swap for a mint cloth trim if I could

Ian, I tried all the main leather agents in the UK for samples of brown. I had about six examples and none of them are a nice match against either the seat backing brown or dash top brown. I was offered a oversized hide left over from a limited edition Bentley for buggar all considering what you are buying but there was no way it would look any good, shame really. I do like leather in a car but I would never use brown it would look absolute cack. The only way to put leather in a MK2 in my opinion would be black as there are so many versions you would get a suitable match eventually.

Its gotta be beta !!

leather looks nice, but i'd never have another car with leather interior, too hot in summer, too cold in winter, makes you sweat any time of year, slippery too!! i'd stick to nice tight beta any day, do the interior that nice rare biege colour, forget dog shit brown

if you ever get board just buy a shity fishnet trim send up to proberly the cheapest trimmer in england near me and pick the shade and he will do it !!!!!!! and for the right money even in 76 chocolate or what ever colour
