insuring a modified vehicle

does anyone have any problems when it comes to modified cars for insurance???? im trying to insure a mk1 van with rear seats & a 1600cc engine .....i thought i would be easy enough to insure on a classic car policy?????? B***ARDS

Insurance and Easy are two words that DO NOT go together.

very true.....got a call this morning from the insurance people & am chuffed to say that they will insure the mk1 van & mexico for €220....but for now its third party fire & theft.....im chuffed with that
