Do what we did at the SOSE show this year with the show - n - shine LOL

        1st + 2nd mk1
        1st + 2nd mk11
Old Skool car of the day
        Track car of the day
Most entertaining track car of the day
And it went down a treat

Keep it light hearted and let people park where they want and not separate the show - n - shiners from eveyone else. We went to them

Our local RSOC group had the biggest stand that they had at any show this year and had a great day

Is this not the way forward ????????

no experts as the trailers take up to much room and make a mess of the grass ?
no underside to be judged ? co's if you have had beer the night before it's bad for ur head.
no cleaning of tyre treads as it's pointless.
boot contents must not be emptied all over the show ground as boot insides will not be judged.
car must have stickers on the windows as most do now .
no logbooks as this is a waste of rain forest .
judges must keep all comments to themselves unless they want to know how many beers you had the night before.
you will get points for none genuine parts fitted [as most parts ar NA now]
10 points for all the same tyres
10 points janspeed 5 points for a standard one ?
no points for idfs as you have to much money ?
20 points for feching the car to the show ?
30 points for 7X13 rs alloys co's we like them ?
ANYBODY FOUND CLEANING ANY PART OF THE CAR WID A TOOTHBRUSH WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE SHOW as it's SAD and bad for the car.
100 points for cars that are TOO SHINEY

well i think thats lightened it up a bit LARK

well missing on that list is 50 - 100 points for cars that have been rung with out being traced and their will be a 100 points for a few on the field i will tell u like

                    rs

All the Escorts are going to the old skool meets.

There are always around 30 mk1/mk2 escorts at the Boxhill meets.

And there was more at the Ace cafe meet last night.

                    Everthing from a rs1600 to cossy powered mk2 rs2000.

Not many old skool guys want to park beside a field of cossys and rs turbos.

As Rob Hoarder has said his mate had trouble getting into the concours area,i also did with mk2 cossy mk2 mexico a few years back...maybe because it was not standard....
I had to park in the dusty field.
There was only 1 other mk2 in the class
