Ireland in WRC

It was announced yesterday can't wait till next year. I think it will be
back to back with RAC. The little country will be at a standstill .
Whats the story with the likes of the mk2's will they be allowed enter
or does it ave to be WRC type thinges .

dont u called that micky mouse rally round south wales the RAC, its called wales rally gb, its on 17-19nov and rally gb is 2 weeks later, its a wrc event and only homolagated cars can enter. typical entre is aroun 90 cars i think, most the field will be wrc (focus,scooby,citroen,307 etc) some privaters in wrc,GpN or S1600 car and then either production car or junior wrc, production is basily road car with some mods for cheapish rallyin,junior wrc is fwd 1600 car like C2,saxo,ignis,polo,defo no mk2 sorry jamies, best 2 get a across 2 here and come watch the roger albert clark rally if u want escorts

How many years do you reckon we will get Bri. They said the contract is

That is very true Tim the fan base is very strong over here, but my one
fear is that the stages will be so over crowded you will not be able to
get next nor near them. Sort of like the scenes from the grp B era.

Sure will Tim. I mean most of the cars are bang up to date well except
Eugene Donelly in his corolla wrc. The things he can do with that are
crazy. As fare as I know some people have 06 model impreza's allready

Yep, great to see Ireland get into WRC, we have a massive rally following over here. Ireland has one of the largest amount of WRC owned cars per head of population than any country in the world, somewere around 70 cars on last count !! Will be great to the like of Nesbitt and Mchale battling against the top Wrc boys, roll on November!!
