    In the West Midlands - not been used for rallying for a long time (made famous when Mr Clark hit a gatepost on the RAC). Will be used later this year for what may be a 2wd only event, possibly including invites for some of the Irish Mk II boys. Great for spectating - the last time I saw an event there in the 80s about half the competitors went off!

    BURWARTON FURKIN TOP PLACE...... Double caution crest that goes left round a 20ft plus drop into a bowl..... looks straight on as you approach the crest.
    The bowl was full of Escorts the last time I was there, must have been 1992 probably the last time it was used.
    ...... did the flying finish on the last two stages got my shins bruised with flying gravel...

      That's the place - we pulled about 6 cars out of the hole one year!
