Bracket in engine bay

In the engine bay of the MKII there is a bracket at the front on both sides it joins the front panel to the inner wing and also the ARB bracket fixes to it . (know which one i mean ?)

does anyone know what colour this should be?

regardless of the colour of the car

Gaz u need the services of the Parts Police or more importantly

scraped the paint of two from different cars a while ago and both were black on top of the bare metal

they were black when bolted to body at the factory. but were painted as rest of the engine bay. the bolt heads are also body colour.

bolts for ARB clamps are black.
