right .....there is a bloke his name is leemo21 on here he has just bought a yellow mexico
the bloke tells him its a genuine mex

you look at the pics and tell us what you think......look very close!!!!!


i think its a reshell.!!!!

well he has put a deposit on but he needs to know if its real or not..!

rad panel could of been replace same with the strut tops but the tunnel looks abit strange and the blue paint, need to see the under side see if its got tramp bars,chassis rail skids and the speedo cable bracket but from that its look like a reshell

how many nordic blue mexs were there ? none ! even if it was real why would anyone paint the inside of a mex pale blue then repaint yellow

Is the rear parcel shelf and C pillar blue? Headlining and interior C pillar trim seem to be putty and not black.

even ian had a run in with him over a yellow rs2000 he won on ebay
ian will know the car

anyway he is doing this and getting away with it

is that mercury classics? we all know by now how to spot a genuine car, it dont bother me too much if someone wants to pretend, provided you arent paying the correct market value.

Is there a photo of the near side seat base?
there should be a strengthening/reinforcement plate there for the pinto exhaust (All original pinto engined cars have them)?
Not usually added to fake cars.

the bloke has tried to sell it to chriss for £6750.....

and he has a £1000 deposit on it

i spoke to ders today and i am sure he will go up with chriss to get the money back and show him what a real mex looks like then report him to the police...
