negative camber lower arms???

When i got my car the last owner gave me along with a few other bits some "negative camber lower arms" or this is what he called them anyway , so i was thinking whilst ive got the front of the car stripped down i might as well put these on ( they are brand new ) , the last owner said he didnt put em on because they might fail the MOT with em on because they have welded ends to make the negative camber ????

If i do put em on what benefits are there?

Item shown is know as an adjustable track control arm

They are to adjust -/+ camber.

The type you have are a little awkward to adjust as they require the arm to be unbolted from the x member (to turn threaded end) each time adjustment is made.

The later type are adjustable in-situ by means of a bar with l/h tread one end and r/h thread at the other

I have just fitted in-situ adjustable type to my car.

They will pass mot.

Put em on EBAY

Sell them and then buy a pair of in situ adjustable type.
