Morning chaps !
As the title says, I'm *finally* in the financial position to get my self a half decent RS after talking about it for over a year, but need some advice on what to look for to make sure I'm getting a pukka car. Talking to mex-it about what to look for is like being bombarded from every angle and I can't take it all in, the man, he know tooooooo much, eh Ricky
My budget is about £3k, but might be stretched slightly for the right car. Basically I want the moon on a stick, as I have long term modification plans for it, for mainly road use but with some trackdays as well. What I'd like is something strong bodily, I can weld but have no real desire to do it all over again, I'd prefer to stick with the oily bits. If I can find a car with half decent suspension / brakes etc then great, big carbs are a huge bonus as they'll form part of the later plans for the car anyway (did I hear someone say zetec?)
So, any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Hopefully I'm having a gander at Lee Adams X pack later this week (passed him on the road yesterday as well) as he's just up the road from me, it would be good to be able to identify stuff when looking at it.
