Martin , would it be possible for you to measure the gap on your topmount/top plate the gap that is in between the body of the roller bearing top mount to the edge of the top plate as i have a bit of a dilema with what i am going to do with my top plates when the car goes to be painted .

And i noticed on your car today that you have large holes in your wings with what seems to be not quite large hole top mounts which is the set up i would have on my car

Gaz, they are the large hole top mounts on mine, for the roller bearing top mounts you can get away with just making the holes a little bigger

Ive allready done this , but sort of ****ed one of the stud holes up when i drilled it out , so ive had some large hole top plates and was going to put these on the car (convert mine to large hole)

but with my top mounts there seems to be quite a large gap between the body of the mount and the edge of the top plate ....see pics http://bbs.rallyesportescorts.co.uk/...ead.php?t=9899

I noticed yours look similar to this and was just wanting you to measure the gap on your car

why didnt u bring your tape measure at weekend ???? their was plenty to measure and then we could of used it for measuring on the wet t shirt competition and the winner is ????
