Finally got back home

Had to get recovered off the M6 just after jct 16

Total loss of power

Took back to my unit

Removed plugs No 4 smashed to bits

Took off rocker cover

No 7 valve appears very high !

Remove rocker arm assembly

No 7 valve collets come off and valve falls into cylinder

Conclusion - Valve head dropped off

Ah well set off again in morning to get to Penrith

Must say a big thanx and an even bigger sorry to MexicoMark !!

I borrow his MKII Escort van 1.6 ohv to do the Old Skool Drive tomorrow
and I succeed in causing his ignition coil to break (another story) and
totally forking his engine

Looks like its back on the spanners for me Tuesday

The van burst back into life for the fist time today... It sounds ****in awesome. Then again I've only got the down pipe on it...

Can't wait just got to make an exhaust & get the seats back in it then it's MOT time.
