Got the front spoiler on, looks nice, the front arches are now being filled, done some more scraping and a bit of rubbing down...

Also removed the roof lining, ariel and sun visors... My new studs SHOULD be here tomorrow so i can get the wheels fitted and get it on the floor

End of the month July 2005???

            Got the studs today
Had to remove the hubs to fit them as they are too long to fit when the hubs are in situe...
So one of the front hub bolt on the n/s decides to snap... Brilliant!#
Set me back an hour at least trying to get the stud out of the hub...
Why do you never have any sharp drill bits when you need em, and why do you break the good ones?
            SODS LAW!!
The o/s/f some one had snapped a stud before in it and forced another thread in it... So that had to be re - tapped...
Removed the half shafts at the rear to fit the stud, again there wasn`t enough room to fit the in situe...
Not a bad job really though.
Still need to buy some Nuts to match the wheels and hold them on correctly but, i`m using the
old ones for the time being... :brilsmurf:

A bit more filling done today too... :flower:
Still need to find a nut to hold the hub on n/s as there is only 3 in, or re-tap it a different thread...

Been busy but not really getting very far lately...
Front susension is off, all arches are now filled and ready for painting, done quite a bit of seam sealing, and the inside was pained today...

Going to get all the suspension bits powder coated when i`ve stripped them down, i also need to remove the remainer of the parcel shelf as someone has made a mess of it before i got it, only option is to remove it... :compress:

Took the plunge today and out came the old heater bubble...
Good job i did really, the back/inside of the bubble itself was starting to rust a bit and no doubt would have bubbled up... Its sods law!!
Cleaned it up seamed sealed the joint and covered it with zinc primer...
                                Not going far now!!!
Also managed to get under the front arches zinc primed aswell, ready for stone chipping soon...

Need a sheet of alloy now to cover the hole, was thinking of getting it engraved too Ford Escort Mexico and the chassis number... brush some paint in the engraving... jobs a good un... what do you lot think??
