Hi All,
I purchased this shell a few years ago having having had 3 MK2's and a MK1 in my youth and having the escort itch purchased this when it came up locally.
A P reg, RS2000 that had lived locally for many years and used as a night rally car then left stood in the rain when another MK2 hit his garage for building in to a stage rally car.
I only have limited RS2000 parts with it so this will be a resto mod as obtaining the RS parts needed for a complete resto would need selling the house...
It took some time to get going as I was completing a resto of a 1986 Subaru pickup that I wanted to finish and then came building our new house. With that now finished work can start on the RS.
My plan is for a duratec with Mazda box ( just need to see if this will fit with an auto tunnel). I quite fancy X pack arches but not sure.
Here is a pic of the shell when it landed.
I have done some work and will upload some pics shortly and wil no doubt be seeking advice going forward.
