Whilst the shell is away the engine is stripped down for reconditioning

Sourced a new impeller from IK engineering, for the water pump, so its turns in the opposite direction.




Normally the fan belt uses a smooth fan belt pulley - but as the water pump is turning in the opposite direction, a ribbed pulley is needed to run the fan belt.

Naughty that. Somebody needs a smacked behind for repairs like that

They actually want thanking. If theyd not done those repairs back then, probably when the car was worth sod all, it probably would be bean tins now! Its these crappy repairs thats saved the car from scrap - as bad as they are!
