86-2016 is the yellow (Sport) Koni for a std Escort 2.
86-1835 is the yellow Koni for a Capri/RS2000 strut.

The -2016 is approx. 3.5 cm longer (full length).
You can use the -1835 with a 1 inch (or more) lowered suspension.

Yes indeed, but I don't want the car to be lowered in the front only the rear.
Just found an alternative: GAZ: GZGAI4103RS -> special longer inserts for use with original springs. Going to check that, to be continued.

Had some contact with Burtonpower and GAZ.

Problem solved: bought Gaz adjustable insert dampers, explicit for use of standard springs in RS2000 struts. These have the same dimensions as Koni 86-2016 8610 sport (which are no longer available).

Hi all, been a long time since last time. For the moment the engine is being rebuild. Soon photo's of that and the rest of the car, as it will probably be ready this summer

I'm searching for 6 Lucas 20 20 spot lamps and because in Belgium it seems to be that there are very little available, I try to ask it here Who has 1 or more sets of these briliant spot lamps for sale?
