  • rebuilt fast road mk1 gt

    hi forum peeps here,s some pics of a mark 1 rebuild that I undertook and finished for a customer earlier in 2014,
    here,s a short rundown and list of work done to car
    strip and repair what small bit of rust there was and filled all unwanted drill holes and previous botch jobs!!
    re locate battery to boot
    fit stone deflector
    fit ford tramp bar kit
    re locate fuel pump and regulator
    up grade shell with avo strenghtning kit
    re do 5 speed conversion as someone previous done a botch on it
    rebuild engine,
    check gearbox
    rebuild rear axle
    rebuild suspension
    re done total brake system, hide most of brake pipes/lines
    strip,paint,re plate, every component/part of the car and make them all look factory fresh/good again.
    strip down wiring and refurb and upgrade where needed
    re do heater box/heating system
    strip down dash clocks and fit new glass
    rebuild the complete car as u see it in the pics
    sort out rolling road, mot , and deliver ^thanx docscars
    what ye,s all think?

                      thanx for the comments chaps, yea the mark1 is staying in northern ireland as it has been an original co antrim car all its time, it,ll prob b seen out and about nxt year,agree tyres wld,nt have been my choice althought the owner had the last call on that one!
