  • Mk2 1600 Sport from New Zealand

    Hi all, thought I'd pop some pics up of my restoration of my car.


    When I first got it
    Drove for several years then rust got the beter of it and it was taken off the road for the last 5 years



    Stripping down



    Repairs going in










    And now with some new paint



    Outside will be painted shortly

    Looks great....my '75 two door (not Sport) is in the same condition as pics 2 & 3 really bad rust in exactly same places, but mine will get Tarmac Arches. Was your built in NZ too?
