      It's always the hardest part of a build though, isn't it? Constant welding and fabbing and nothing seems to get closer to being done. The good bit where you start bolting things on to a nice shiny shell doesn't look too far away.
      It'll be worth it when you are sat there with an armful of opposite lock on, 8000rpm on the tacho and a big grin on your face

            you have the worst done close the garage door and have a break away from it and rest up. Get the nosecone hung on her in the new year be different on the stages

            • I spent a little of xmas day afternoon in the garage and this morning doing bits


              Trial fitted the rear arches and drilled the holes

              Also fitted sealed bottom rivnuts for screwing on the carbon heater bubble.

              And installed the water collar onto the bubble

              And made myself a sill jacking tube kit

                And got both skids welded on and drill holes for the sill jacking points

                    Still got to brace the fronts to the floor then start on the other side, but not a bad day seeing as I couldn't be RS'd again

                          • Defo agree with the wax oil but there's better products about than stone chip. Try one of the rubber spray on sealers mick

                              Finished the jacking points and bracing off today
