Well I've had this shell a few months now and keep doing a bit so thought I'd start a thread to show some slow progress, It's going to be a long term project a couple of years at a guess but it's about my 30th mk2 so this one is going to be the most advanced one to date but still in keeping to a period works car and retaining 13inch rims 
even tho I fitted the 15inch tubes so I can eat my own words at a later date 
My youngest lad Tom 13 has had a big input with this one and I haven't sugar coated it for him he's had 9 o'clock finishes after 3 hours sanding and on a school night and he's still fairly keen
don't know where he gets it from 
About a 1/4 of the panels for it and I'm not joking it's quite a solid old thing but it's seen it's fare share of welding and filler ? I won't go there !!!
