ford escort mk2 4 door ghia part work./

a has a ford escort ghia 1.6 in auto.
work carried out was convert to auto to manuel.
and got thru this car for any rough rot or repairs.but bareing in mine on owner budget or level.
fairly tidy wee car.but some rot found and not expected.

preingade starter.but mm not do wont meet crossflow flywheel teeth.some put crossflow starter in running thru silonode etc. the old way if u no what a mean

fitting bearing for gear box nose shaft as there was none due to running a auto box

no easy repairing inner wing panels on both sides of this car without wings off ..

replaced the all core plugs when engine was out hears 2 of them here


new crankshaft seal fitted here










5 speed type 9 was fitted to this car.
will update on finshing pics of this car at some point.
car was done on a level to cost on time,parts ,parts made etc .
owner has his car back last week and pleased with what a did .car was all waxoil on owner s extra request.and as a extra a fitted a quickshift kit
may need work in years to come most do .as owner nose this.
he will fit whats missing side car him self.dont think hes has joined this site on hear so he may not leave feedback .
