This was my first fitting using the original holes from the previous owner

I had a few comments pointing out that it was too high causing the sides to point up so I bought a new one and lowered it by a few mm.

At the same time do the rear arches but get the tarmac version which sits above the swage line.
I still think the spoiler will need to be lowered slightly as I had too with mine, again the existing holes can be welded up, as I did. It's best to do it now before the prep and paint, a bit of filler and you would never know it had been altered.
If it was my car I would approach the company that did it and show him this thread. If he is as experienced as you say he is then he will see that it's not right and agree to sought it for you.

There is nothing wrong with the arches or spoiler.. it's the way they have been fitted..!!!! I think you'll find Gartrac didn't design and make them to be fitted that way.
