Bit closer to first coat of hammerite ,,,,,, oooops I mean primer,,

All the scabs and imperfections have been removed and although not to many scabs these have been cut out and new metal fitted,

Hope next weeks photos will be in a coat of primer

as usual the thread is highjacked with the normal dross..

Any how went to see it today ,, mostly down to bare meral , all scabs and pinholes sorted

Found the start of rust around the heater bowl so removed all that and replaced with new metal

Hopefully will be in primer tomorrow

Struggling to match the paint , went through the ford paint codes and found a lot of variations for signal amber double listed as signal orange ??

Any how as the car is now almost a bare shell signal yellow is looking the favourite

Lets wait and see ,, mixing a bit of each to see what looks best

After all the messing and work at least I can say its a 99.9% rust free shell
