Thanks for the replies. Answers to.. The inner wings fitted pretty good really, chassis legs were new off ebay. The car was off ebay somewhere on the border of north wales. Didnt take pics of everything as was just cracking on but fitted new A panels , inner wings ,inner and outer sills, floor pans and chassis legs and made spare wheel/tank well repairs. Will keep adding pics as i go along ,only started two weeks ago so may take it a bit steadier now to give the cuts and grinding marks on my hands a chance to heal..

thats a really good effort in 2 weeks mate, took me nearly a year to get that far! Shouldnt take you long to shape the top side up looking at how you have got on with the bottom side, keep at it while you still have plenty of motivation.

Coming along nicely, N/S gap looks good, O/S seems to have same prob I had with O/S door on my present resto where the door skin appears to be flat rather than follow the body gap next to the door handle, im sure you will get it all sorted, you are deffo flying, wish I could get mine done as quick.

If you want it, get it, before someone else beats you to it.

Cheers. N/s gap was the same think its the non genuine door skins. Will be close enough be time its done hopefully.

I've just a problem like this with my offside wing where the top pressing where it meets scuttle panel was crap, ended up having to build it up with weld and dress it to shape with power file always an option on the door skin to get it right.
