Ford escort mk2 part repair work

hi folks am doing some work on my m8 ford escort mk2 .it a semi track car running a 2.0 pinto on twin 40 s quite poke about to be honest.not sure on cam on it .has full cage part home made tho.billys all round ,bucket seat.this is a toy my m8 just plays about in.as hes over retire age but has been in to escorts for years
he learned me a few things over the years ,mechanics etc.great guy.
and he builds all my ford engines as well.
here a few pics of repairs on his car so far.
lineing rear half panel

made rear end chassi short sections.and treated with red bonda





lined up where rear bumpers bolts thu.

other side getting done to

rear floor edge also needed work before rear half panel was fitted

under tank well needed repair work


also spare wheel well needed some work




will update in a week or so on this car

forgot to added car is now getting done on a budget .respray
to be added now.but at a low cost.
as he said he likely bash it .

al repairs done and welding.should have this car in primer this week.
will be tidy when done.

Hi tony car all primered last wk
And some stonechip along the sills
Rear inside boot painted and inside bonnet and rear boot lid.
Will post pics once car is painted should have it done by the wkend m8

owner had a go him self here but gave up thats why its rusted again.lilf it for me to do

hi update on this escort haveing by getting delayed the last few weeks.
the escort is painted today.
just some satin black to add this wk then put it back together then off to its owner.my long term m8.
who has learned me alot over the years.
got alot to thank him for so did it car for him.its only a toy to him nothing more .

new front and rear rs rubbers,weather strips .

bumpers still to paint but will be done at a later date.
my m8 should get his car bk at wkend as a need the room.
