    If you slide it in on a piece of carpet and brute strength you can go in under the arch/chassis leg, bit more clearance for less height lifted.

    I think that's how I used to do it...but it's been a while.

    Build the lot up mate, head on, belt on, dizzy, timed up, put gearbox on and starter, get the rack fastened to the xmember and lift it all in from underneath as a one'r

    You can get enough clearance with the front end well up on axle stands , gearbox tail end on a trolley jack.

    Try and get some long bar with 3/8th UNF thread on the end, screw into chassis and it guides the xmember straight up into place.

    Started getting the engine back together over the weekend





    Got engine onto a dolly was going to leave the cyclinder head off but it looks low enough clearance Going to remove front X member and offer up from underneith well thats plan A





    Thank you for all the coments can't wait to get the shell back Waiting for headlining to be made and fitted and windows to be fitted. Hope its back for the weekend fingers crossed

    Whent to the bodyshop yesterday doors, boot and bonnet fitted and satin black done. Requires headling And windows fitting then it's homeward bownd
