Another series 1 resto

Ater following the restoration of the series 1 turbo that we recently completed the owner of this Rs tubo has entrusted us to restore it to its former glory.

Arriving as a rolling shell a selection of genuine Ford panels and a donor shell the first task is to strip the remaining parts from the shells and ship them over to Neal at GBS blasting for media blasting.

Back from blasting and the full extent of the corrosion is visible and combined with years of suspect repairs this RS is in a very bad way.

got one in myself .needs a fair bit of work but dont they all.once the black shit has been taken of to reveal hidden rot.going concours with the shell so
will need to be mint .lots of panels to fit also.

Gotta love a rusty old Ford, we have another series 1 lined up hopefully after this one plus a series 2 as well. Cheers well pleased with the write up.

gotta love an s1...just got cf mag today n seen the clip about u...will read it over the weekend...look forward to the progress on this one....is going back to standard n concorse???
