Well, we have had two weekends at the car now. 3 LONG days. Loads of prep as I want the car FLAT as a pancake But the main thing is the paint that was on it. Its a strange one. It was obviously bare metal resprayed in the past which sounds like a 'proper job' But, I think it was then painted in a damp garage after it was bare metalled. What looked like dust in the old paint or micro blistering is in fact trapped moisture! So when we took the paint back these spots were little rust spots!!! Only option was then t bare metal the panels as shown with the roof being bare metalled. If ya gonna do a job, do it right So....
Here is where we are :

Roof bare metaled like the rest of the panels



All panels Spray filled and blocked back .



Then, High build primer applied



Then some colour inside

I got the deadening pads off Ebay. Cant remember the user but if you search they were a pack of ten.
