10mm copper. Is it a special pipe for fuel or can I use the 10mm copper pipe from the plumbers merchant?

Also, Ive bought the anti tramp bars as I want things to be right and I was thinking of fitting strut top strengthening plates etc. Do they offer so much more strength or it is it not really worth it on a road car?

What fittings do you use? Just a short length of rubber to connect to tank and pump?

Yeh i just got pipe from plumbers merchants and rubber pipe to join it to pump,drilled hole bigger in nut under tank put an olive in job done.
I put strut top plates on mine will give it more strength and looks the part.

Got the inner arch repairs done and outer arch back on:









Then fitted new end of sill and closed off. Bit of etch on it till I get to the filling.

Got the front section of the sill done too. The passenger side sill wil be a full replacement.

How the hell do i get the door pins out? Tried with a hammer and punch to no avail

Nice work so far. Used to be the same rust spots as with my shell. Only difference was, that if you go for bubble arches, much less work to do....

Slowly Dave but no rush mate I had intended this to be done for next spring but I think it will be spring after now!

Not much done this week. Managed to get the rear section of the tub/spare wheel well sectioned in. Happy with this as I was scratching my head a fair bit piecing it in

Arch fully closed off now and passenger side sill done



Needed to sort a hole around the jacking point. It had just been plated over, including bashing the jacking point support down and plating over that too!!!









Also fitted first anti tramp bracket
