Couple more hours this morning. Loving cleaning up a black lump to fine nice loam bits within.
Its gonna take a while........
Decided on rad out and full hoses replacement as well now.
Are Samco my only option or can I get original look hoses still?

My car came with some NOS ones they are gates hoses there pretty nice to be fair and if ya didnt want gates on it you could carfully wet and dry the writing off.Comment

Any local motor factors should be able to get them i should think. If i remember tommorow il take some pics of them and get a part number off them. I would think gates would still be able to supply them if you contact them direct. I was told that mk2's came with gates hoses but dont know how true that is?Comment

Its amazing what is still available from the local parts factors..I have bought loads of (dusty!) parts for my Escorts that have been considered difficult to find from my local supplier.Always worth a call.Comment

Just ordered a top and bottom hose off Gaybay. Remanufactured rubber ones. Hopefully they'll fit
