  • Here we go again!

Decided to take the rest of the year out from rallys/trackdays to sort out some not so major rust problems on the car but they've been doing my head in for the last few months, so i thought i would get it done.
It will be having a new(to it) rear panel, a few repairs and a full blow over, nothing major but then the most difficult thing---a new graffix scheme which i can't decide on.
I will get some pics up soon but will probably only be working on it at weekends

Really amazed that the hinge pins came out of three hinges after 33 years!
            Bottom of the rear screen

And plenty of small rust spots spreading under the paint on the front end

                    Done a bit more today

On all bare metal edges always use a zinc weld through primer

This time i'm leaving the valance standard, so had to make a cut out for the tailpipe

A little bit of aerosol primer and sealed up inside
