very nice!!!!!! one question, whats the bracket for on the boot floor spare wheel side? i havnt got one of those. forgive me for being stupid if its obvious but im new to these old fords

The bracket was put there for the RS models so ford could fit the spare 6x13 alloys with 175x70x13 tryes in the wheel well, otherwise with the bracket being on the inside of the well like the standard escorts you would not get 6x13 alloys in the well. Hope this is the correct answer.

Thats interesting il dig a little deeper to see if its had one removed or see if its never had one. i assume only rs shells had this then, did mex shells have this also?

Mexico's had them but on the sport it was inside the well as only had 5.5j wheels as opposed to the RS 6"
