      its quite hard stuff, the bloke that did the powdercoating masked up the threads & machined surfaces on the pulleys etc so i don't need to worry about cleaning those up.

            Not had much time lately but I've been re-building the pedal box during the evenings this week, got the bits back from powdercoating & zinc plating

              put on new bronze pedal bushes & new pedal rubbers



              I'm really pleased how its turned out, just a shame most of it won't be seen when its on the car. Just need to do the rest of the car now!

                    didn't get the diaphragm powdercoated, took it down to bare metal, treated the rust, thin skim of filler & re-paint, not as good a finish as the powdercoating but it doesn't look too bad.

                    then put it all back together

                      also got this speedo pod off ebay for a bargain price of £9.80 including postage! The chrome on it is absolutely mint, I've never seen one as good as this, just gave it a clean up, really pleased with it!
