First of all let me say your work is unbelievable, i dont think there would be a builder here in australia that would ever even think of taking on a project with that much rust. I think you replaced more steel than you kept. Mighty fine job and that orange is going to look bloody great.

Yeah that rusty old thing lol. Looking good to have some nice shiny paint on. I'm pretty stumped at the mo as I am trying to find someone that can fit the wings on my car before I finish prepping it. I want them to be right after all the work I've put into it so trying to farm the job out to a professional but nobody seems to be interested which is a shame

Thank you very much for that, its very much appreciated. Im sure there will be some over there that could tackle a project like this.
Tbh there wasn't much holding the front end together when I got it, the best bit of metal was the tunnel, which im sure was the only thing stopping it from going banana shaped, the floors had had it, the A post on the O/S had rotted through enough that there wasn't anything to take the weight of the door lol, inner and outer sills on both sides were complete rotten, the chassis had some lovely holes in it and pieces missing and the list goes on. I cant wait to get the signal orange on it, just a few minor bits to sort that im not happy with first and then I will get final colour on it.

Lol, its deffo rusty and deffo getting old mate, bit like me.

Why don't you have a go at doing them yourself ? the tedious bit is getting the alignment right, but after that its fairly straight forward, im sure you could do it mate.

Managed to get a few hours in on the wing tops this evening, cleaned up, rubbed down and etch primed almost ready for the primer filler to go on.

Getting that bit closer to paint time, but thought it best to check that the bib spoiler fitted ok rather than scratch the new paint afterwards and all is looking well,

Big milestone for me this evening, the car is now completely orange even though its not the finish colour it feels good to get to this stage at last, im still hoping that I can get the signal orange on before Christmas if all goes well
