Panic is really setting in now.....

Popped in this-morning and the final "contour check" mottle has been applied

The last car they did for me took 7 months, so I've now got another project on the go in the garage thinking it will be end of Feb when I get the RS back

Hoarder-Strips (black back panel borders) arrived today in the post, so one panic less! Cheers Rob!

Blimey - bit of lead loading - not seen that done for a while.

Andrew, this is an excellent way of sealing those seams, what a great job you're doing here. Have not seen this on a Ford since the days of the Ford Corsair when Ford used lead fill on the joint where the top of the wing meets the front panel.

Nice early model this. The Signal Orange RS2000 Mk2 was probably the first I saw and there were loads of orange ones around here when they were first introduced.....and then they all disappeared. Keep up the excellent work, looking forward to seeing it completed.

It's now primed, filled, sanded and has been put aside in the paintshop for 5 days to let all the priming coats gas off.

Orange paint should be going on next week
