  • MK2 Restoration from Turkey...

    Hi everyone

I bought my 1977 Mk2 last December. A restoration was done by its ex-owner nearly 3 years ago but I decided to remove its custom bodywork. First, I changed the diff (was an awfull 3.44) with 3.89 (9/35).
I bought 5 speed gearbox. Now, the bodywork is nearly finished. Next task is the paint job.

    Some pictures from the beginning...

Superb. Welcome to the site. What colour are you going for? I would keep it the same.

Well, it was adapted from a FIAT 131. Functional but not original. I found one or two boot floors from breakers but those were too expensive Finally decided to make it by hand
