evening, busy week removing more bits off the car getting ready for pent hopefully just after the weekend, got some new radiator mounting panels to go in which will accept the new ralloy big header rad and tidy up the front panel, a bit more preparation and some more repairs and she'll be ready for the gun, the steering column has been removed as the one on the car started life on a capri and was a little short, so the pedal box came out ready for a little makeover too, in the rear the boot refurb has taken another step forward with the alloy tank being installed, a bracket fabricated to accept the two fuel pumps and the filter king being mounted in place, lots of new bits delivered this week ready for the zetec install when the engine bay is ready, anyway here are some pics to show the progress, the Lakes Tour i believe is only 12 weeks away

How long have you had the Zetec stored for?
What sort of exhaust have you planned?
Looing forward to seeing this progress.

now the engine is out we can sort out the missing radiator brackets and cut out for the bottom of the rad to fit the front panel, found some grot at the ends of the chassis rails so that was sorted too, almost ready for the full prep for pent, at the rear the fuel lines are now plumbed and wired up also the rear loom and battery cables have been laid, number plate fitted along with the boot latch springs, inside the car the old alloy h/brake bracket has been changed for a gartrac item, coming on, some pics of the nice shiny stuff and some pics of the grot
