Picked up this bargain yesterday one owner 46,000 1.3GL 4 door, The Mexico is going on hold for a short while whilst this one gets sorted. It needs absolutely NO welding underneath and has never had any it does need a pair of front wings and a bonnet, little bits here and there then a good coat of paint. There is a bit of surface rust but everything is solid. Original stereo, and would appear from the tax disc it was last on the road in 2001.

Project 4 Door
Been a bit of a delay in starting the 4 door project as had to finish my T4 Transporter project first from this
with a lot of this
to get to this
anyway back to the point the car needs a bit of straightening out but the only welding needed are the edges of the headlamp panel and a pair of front wings so should be a quick project then maybe I'll finally get the Mexico finished
The drip rails are in great condition as are the 'A' pillars and the kick panels. Will be doing more over the next week so will add more photos as I gosigpic

Update
I can't believe I've owned this for 18 months but in that time I've moved house built an extension and part way through renovating the rest of the house. Made the decision to get the 4 door ready for Ford Fair but the bodyshop doing the paint for me won't be able to get it painted by then so it'll have to be Rally Day. Took the other wing off and generally stripped bits off, sadly broke the gutter trim getting it off. Engine out over the next couple of days the going to blast it clean ready for paintsigpic

Engine is out, found that the front cross member had totally rotted away so having made the headlamp repair panels the front panel has to come off, snapped one of the lugs on the brake master cylinder trying to get it off as the captive bolt came loose. A bit stressed so forgot to take any photos today, getting the engine bay soda blasted on Sunday so will put up a few more then
