      Cheers for the comments lads!

Shifty, i really like Le mans green on a mk1 but dont think it suits an arched mk1 tho! So this one will be going Ermine white, nice and low and wide Ml's.
      Should be a nice look,

      cheers,auld

Got a nice wee update, the front end has been started.

Full length Expressed panels inner wing top fitted to the N/S and AVO top plate. Looking nice and factory!

The O/S has been cut back ready for the inner wing top, but will need some work to the suspension cup 1st.

        Few pics for you all......

        Hope you like,

        Cheers,Auld

Just had another update from James at South West Restos,

O/S top plate, strut pan and verticalls, stamped AVO top plate and hinge panel repaired.

Slam and rad panel fitted along with the front panel!

Really taking shape now and cant recomend james highly enough!

                few pics.....

                cheers, auld

Thats the car almost finnished, leaving Oban at midnight thursday night to go and collect from South West restos.

Here is an update of how its getting on,

Axle stripped of all bits not needed, 4 link brackets welded on and watts brackets. Just the coilover brackets to do.

Watts towers in and 1 has had gussets fitted, just the other side to do.

Also my bilstein rear coilovers were delivered yesterday, cant wait to get it all bolted up!

                  Cheers, Auld

                        Cheers guys,

Aye David hope they fit, will find out friday morning! Should look the tits if they do!

                        Another wee update,

Thats the O/S tower fitted and gussets and the coilover bracket and my bilsteins all on. Also James has fabricated a cover and extended the curve on the boot floor to give the watts kit more clearance.

                        Hope you like

                        Cheers,auld

Well thats the escort back home after a 26 hour drive! lol!

Very happy with the work that has been done by South West Restos, and witha wee bit of work the the rear arches the 10 inch comps will fit nice which is a bonus!

Picked up a nice pair of nos genuine ford wings while i was down there so once the mk2 recovery is finnished i can press on with this!

                          Here are a few pics...

Myself on the left, another happy customer of James's

                          Cheers,auld

Looks smart with those wheels on. Needs slamming though.

Is the race on to see who can be on the road with our escorts first?

Aye im going to adjust the coiovers tomorow nite and get it sitting how i want it. Was thinking of tucking it away until the mk2 recovery is done but mite get this done 1st insted??

Na i would say yours will be painted before mine and as you have most of your bits yours will prob be built before mine!

Ive still got to decide and buy an engine and box!!

                                Cheers,auld
