                  • Been a while but the car is finally home...MOTd and Taxed with some interior bits to finish off.

Big thanks to Andyg for his welding, fabrication and fitting of body kit...
to Ricky for re-trim, headlining and fitting of new glass...
to my Son-in-law Mark for re-respraying the MK2 to his almost satisfaction...
to my wee fat mate Davy for helping out over the year from stripping the car right thro to bringing it back home!!...
Mega big thanks to Bigjohnie for rebuilding the engine, sorting the wiring..persevering with all my mistakes and badly fitting non OE parts...
extra big thanks to Bigjohnie and Fred at Springburn Autos for fitting the engine and sorting the brakes and finally MOTing the car!!!

At my rapidly advancing years this probably my last restoration project but as I have owned the car for over 25 years it is worth the pain and expense to have the car back with completely new engines, glass, interior, brakes etc etc...I just wish it was summer and I could get out and enjoy it but maybe next year...CheeRS...............mad malky!!
