Engine and box are now back together , bolted firmly to each other so hopefully this weekend or next they will be going in

smalll update, Picked up the towing vehicle this week, very happy to be driving something about half decent. The towbar is being fitted next WednesdayThe kids like it too, and Jenny allows me to park it on the drive . Troy is coming over Saturday pm to sort the fuel problem out, Have spoken to Martin at Moorlands and yes, she,s off to Moorlands again at the end of the month. Ive given them two weeks to complete the car, Nosecone, decals, and a couple of other small bits, My plan is all i will be left with is the fitting of the plates and the paint marks. While the car is essentially finished up there, Martin has suggested by Royal command a "special visit" by the one and only...... Mr Hughes to give the car the once over. I best leave the building at that mo. Wouldn,t want to be responsible for my actions .I,m going to warn Mr Hughes to bring some high intensity sun glasses, because it don-half shine . Better get my satin paint ordered now . Now i secured the use of a covered trailer, it will nice taking the car up there myself, and will save me £400

why does he need to see it ian he would only value it at ten bob cos 'no-one wants in that colour' he would only give u that sort of statement u would be better keeping him out of the way imo just look how he treat gerard at n.d.

i dont know about that ricky, as the parts i would imagine were/are worth more off the car than on, adding all the parts up would exceed the value imo

Quick update, bit slow on the Worthers front at the mo. She was supposed to go to Moorlands tomorrow, however, its been put back a week now. Chrome wheel nuts are on their way back from the chromers, NOS, spare wheel strap on its way, looked in the garage yesterday, she was still there, must confess, did open the air-chamber and opened the door, then opened the bonnet, still looks as good, some new pics next week hopefully, sorry. Still on course for the 10th June.

Well its Thursday and Worthers has been at Moorlands a couple of days now. Tuesday went well, first time ive pulled a trailer with the new car, first time ive trailered anything !!. Was a little nervous but i kept to 50-55mph and all went well. Tony has a list of things to work through, noscone, decals etc etc, i hope to get up there early next week with the camera, she should be finished end of next week. I took the air-chamber down for someone on the forum and the new one went up. I was lucky to have two delivered and promised myself the new one would go up when she was finished. Sorry no pics, some of you may just have wanted an update, re-chromed wheel nuts arrived... no good gone back this morning, i told them not to chrome the washer.. no guesses for what they did, and there was some poor finishing around the face of the nuts, thats about it.

Just to spoken to Tony at Moorlands (Monday afternoon) and its good news for tomorrow, picking up the trailer this afternoon then having a steady drive up in the morning, nosecone was the last thing to go on the car, the list of things have been completed. Going to watch him put the stripes and boot decal on tomorrow, then say a FINAL goodbye, all being equal... just the plates and paint id marks left having said that, i,m sure i,ll find some more bits, will take some pics in the morning and hopefully post tomorrow evening, it,ll just leave the finished pics then
