Quite a modern car for me lol
This old girl has had a hard nock to the o/s front cassis leg and has completely twisted the shell, it sat in a yard for a year or so and was looking in a poor way.
We decided to go for a complete new shell in the end because the old one is too far-gone

When the i got the shell back it needed some welding in places










I stone chip the floor before I painted it

the shell was very Ripley. Both the rear quarters and the roof are very bad.
I spent over a week filling and blocking.






All primed, time for more blocking.

I fitted all the panels to make shore there a good fit.





Six coats of primer, blocking in-between each coat

Clear coat on, this is still the gun finish

Nice and straight








Just need to flat and polish in now.

Shinny bits, there are all the same parts that came of it almost.

Moved the sierra into the big unit where it’s nice and clean.
Made a start on putting the loom back in




There is so much stuff to go back on, I think i will stick to escorts from now on

I also have got hold of some carbon steel oe green brake line wich is a sod to work with but it looks the nuts

Tanks all painted and fitted and the engine is almost ready to goin

I gave the alternator a paint because it just would not clean up
