  • Ford Escort MK2

Just to put everyone on the same page, i bought this car last summer.

The car was all restored and has new paint, but the previous owner didn´t finished the car.

I have almost all things to put the car running, but i as i want to make a nice job and don´t have much time, i´m making some upgrading on suspension, brakes, engine, etc.

This is a MK2 with a Pinto 2000, "running with a Kent FR33. Going with 45´s with it and also with a nice Exhaust header. For now, i won´t be touching the engine, at the end if hte power isn´t that nice, im going deep...

At the rear end, i have an Mk3 cortina 2000 axle, and allready have the ZF to put it in. This is perfect for the arches. Keeping the standard drum brakes for now.

For the interior, i have 2 Sparco bucket seats, Sparco roll cage, and i want to do a nice gauge panel, works look a like. If someone has some pics of, i will be glad to see it here.

Well, the chat is getting long. Here are some pics.

    Cheers,

    Pedro.

                Thanks.

The engine bay needs to be well washed, and hope it doesn´t need some new paint.... but is a fairly easy task.
