had a kink past the rear bump stop towards the rear of the car .and the axe had moved u could see that .so when the leg was straighten a had the rear spring shackla off and put the spring back in centre of axe mount so doing this u could see how much the leg had moved.if u no what a mean m8.......
coming on well now is that all the damage repaired
no m8 still the front end to fix as chassi legs are bent
will replace crossmenber, wing drip rails,2x new wings, front panel
but that will be on hold for a week or so due to another resto work..
Great to see a lovely car saved like this......your doing a great job there. I noticed a dent on the other rear wing, did that have to come out before you fitted the rear panel or does it not present a problem?

Great work fella! Thanks for keeping us posted, especially the details of the slam panel. I think mine will need to come off and it's good to get a rough idea of where the spot welds might be.
This is great stuff! I guess most people wouldn't have thought it was worth it but it's lucky there's guys like you with the skill to save another one from the crusher. Top work!
