  • Rs2000 hallys old plant pot!!!

Well As a lot of you guys will know Me and Hally did a deal with our cars a few months ago, Both of us having owned them around 10 years and I think we both fancied a change,So the deal was done and keys were swopped, Think both of us were a bit sad to see them go but a change is as good as a rest and I think Hally is as happy as Im now and knowing that both has gone to good home

Anyway as with all cars theres always some tinkering to do so (or waste money on as the wife puts it ) I had some brown plastics from the building Betsy that were like brand new so put them to good use and removed 30 years worth of old Alarms and immobilisers

Had some near new front bilsteins begging to see the light of day again so on they went.

And Ive always wanted one of them stainless mass manifolds and after a few gental hints to her indoors. A early Birthday prezzie. Off with the Ashley and on with the sexy 105speed one and a loverly bit of kit it is to

and thats about it till the tax runs out at the end of the month, Will give it a clean over winter and keep my fingers crossed I can get a Tour entry in May, A big thanks to Hally for parting with his pride and joy, Its nice to get a car thats obviously been looked after so well by its previous owner and knowing Betsy has gone to a good home aswell cheers Wayne

    cheers Paul

Keep an eye on the manifold, pal has had 2 for his pinto and both have moved 10mm and started to hit the chassie leg before it got out the garage also had to do the bonnet and innerwing with heat shielding to stop it bubbling the paint it's now of and the ashley one refitted, and it was down on bhp at Northhampten Motorsport when set up with the 105 speed one on it two.

Thats not good Only done 50 miles so far tho, its supposed to give 8bhp more than the Ashley one and it has smaller bore header pipes will see how it goes, Ive only heard good reports on the Zetec one so far
                        cheers Paul
