Well it been a busy few months sorting a few bits and pieces on my mk1,had it properly set up on the dyno, axle narrowed and setup by Fostec, and a good few days out having fun driving after 8 years hard work,

Its my dads old rally car,it had done the rac in 71,72,73 before he got it from a man in Shap Cumbria,he used it to good effect in the late 70's and early 80's running a high spec pinto on the Tour of Cumbria,Hadrians Camp etc.


He also used a lotus cortina for a year or two

Brief spec,fully restored and prepared to clubman gp4 spec,seam welded,big tunnels,steel arches,gusseted,round turrets,skidded chassis rails,six linked narrow atlas axle,zf motorsport lsd,disc rear brakes,tuned 2.0xe,motorsport wiring loom,clubman t9 box,rosejointed quickshift,wcxm,adjustable top mounts and tca's,quick rack,shaped ally tank,carbon bonnet and boot,plastic doors,etc
I would love to do some single venue events in it next year if money permits but i'll have to sell the bike first,anyone want a mint 929 fireblade
